BENOÎT CLERC – Head of Publishing/Member of the Board of Directors, Bigben Interactive

In 2018, three renowned development studios joined the BIGBEN Group: Cyanide, Kylotonn Racing and Eko Software. In 2019, Raceward and Spiders joined the group. Bigben Interative is active in Canada via its subsidiary Rogue Factor. By bringing the production of its video games catalogue in-house the company is now positioned as a developer-publisher and pursues the goal to become a major brand in the `AA’ title sector. Based in Lesquin (North of France) with operations in Europe, Asia and North America, Bigben has been publishing games for almost two decades and is a recognized force in the marketing and distribution of AA games for all platforms.

SEBASTIAN WEBER – Business Development Manager Games, Koch Media/Deep Silver

Sebastian is one of three Business Development Managers at Koch Media and its label Deep Silver. In that position, he is always on the hunt for the next big hit to complement the company’s portfolio of game series like Metro, Saints Row, Dead Island or Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but also looking for any other high-quality game out there in need of a publisher. For that, the main task is to evaluate game pitches and discuss projects with development teams from all over the globe as well as doing market research, competitor analysis as well as forecasts. Sebastian started his career in the gaming industry in 2005 as a gaming journalist, working for several big publishing houses and gaming outlets in Germany and also worked in localization for a few years at German publisher Kalypso Media.

CAGLAR EGER – Director App Store Relations/Partnerships & Corporate Development, Goodgame Studios

Caglar has been with Goodgame Studios since 2012, responsible for analyzing the potential of emerging markets such as Turkey, MENA, Asia, and for establishing Goodgame as a market player in high potential countries and regions. He wears multiple hats in his current role and his expertise in markets like China have led to strategic partnerships for Goodgame Studios. He is also responsible for the strategic partnerships with the biggest mobile platforms, such as the iOS Store and Google Play Store, and for corporate development. HENRIK JONSSON – Game Company Equity Investor, Goodbye Kansas Game Invest (Sweden)

Henrik Jonsson is a Game Company Equity Investor at Goodbye Kansas Game Invest (Sweden), looking to invest in or partner with Studios in Canada and elsewhere. With 22 years of experience as a Games and Graphics Programmer making anything from AAA-games and Casino games to Industrial Robotics Simulations, Henrik has also worked at EA as an AI and Gameplay programmer on the Need for Speed releases of 2015 and 2017, as well as at Ion Storm in Dallas, where he worked on Anachronox with iD Software founder Tom Hall, and helped with voice acting on the first Deus Ex release.

Jack has years of experience in the gaming industry and has worked with multiple global clients, such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft and Konami. In 2015, he founded 9th Art Games Studio and mainly worked with local clients before joining Sheer Game in 2019. Sheer Game is a leading game content outsourcing studio, the largest in western China,with more than 13 years experience in the game industry. Founded in 2005, Sheer has been the production partner for many top game developers and contributed to over 1000 titles. With comprehensive platform skills and proficiency with most production pipelines and 3D tools, they provide a broad range of art and animation services. Jack’s functions at Sheer Game focuses on project management, production and global client relationship management.

DENG YAO – Assistant to the Vice-President in Charge of Overseas Investment, IQIYI Game

IQIYI Game develops, publishes and distributes games. Their flagship game is Flower of Journey, which ranked ranked #1 in Android’s most downloaded games and #6 in the App Store’s. They have developed a series of other mobile games, such as Battle Warship and The Croods. They also have their own platform where worldwide users can access high-quality games and live streams for over 20 popular games. Ms Deng joined the R&D center of IQIYI Game three years ago. She is now assistant to the VP in charge of overseas investment.

RICKY QIAN – Manager/Trade Commissioner, Canadian Commercial Corporation Representative Office (Chengdu, China)

Ricky Qian joined Canadian Commercial Corporation Rep. Office in Chengdu in 2010. He began his career with international engineering project, and has abundant experience in EPC management, international trade & investment,marketing, and international business development. Mr. Qian heads this Office in Chengdu and is part of the global network of the Trade Commissioner Service. Mr. Qian assists Canadian companies by connecting them with a broad range of partners, advising market information, and offering problem-solving services. Mr. Qian speaks Mandarin and English. Mr. Qian holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China.

Carlos is the CEO of Dreams Uncorporated , where he’s creating a heavily anticipated RPG game for Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, titled Cris Tales, with a team of 20 people in his home country Colombia. He used to run Below The Game, where he developed games for all platforms, including PC, consoles and mobile, and reached a peak with Haimrik, a PC, PS4 and Xbox One game. We’re always looking for partners to develop new a innovative games for all platforms!

RODRINGO LANNES – Partnership and Content Manager, BEMOBI

Rodringo is a  professional with almost 15 years of experience in tech, sales and marketing. Having spent the last 8 years in the Telecom and VAS industries, he currently works at Bemobi as Partnerships and Content Manager for Apps Club, a subscription based app store offered to end users in partnership with mobile carriers in emerging markets such as Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. The service, the first of its kind, is live in more than 30 countries and generates millions of dollars in revenues to its partners and customers. With offices in Brazil, Norway and Ukraine and professionals present in many more countries, Bemobi is the leading VAS provider to many world-class telecom players, such as AMX, Telenor, Movistar, TIM, and Vodafone. Bemobi currently works with 65 mobile operators.

FREDERICO AMAZONAS – Business Development Analyst, Nuuvem

Crazy about gaming in general and with a little over one year of experience in the industry, I’m attending MIGS & MEGA (as well as visiting Canada!) for the first time. Hunting for opportunities to diversify and strengthen LATAM’s gaming interests, I’m very excited to be here representing Nuuvem and looking forward to what we can come up with together in this regard. The largest LATAM digital games store, Nuuvem is the largest player whose operations are focused on the region.
