Come and test your skills!

Esport Zone

In this section, there will be many free-play computers available to anyone that wants to test their skills! We’ll have all the gear you need to play, too.

For the more competitive ones among you, we’ll also have computers dedicated to our esport tournaments! We’ll schedule different championships where anyone can play for free! All participants will get tickets for our many raffles, while the winners of each tournament will win instant prizes!

This year, we are EXTREMELY lucky to have Team Sailor Scouts join us!

They’ll play exhibition matches against attendees, share their expertise surrounding esports and talk about their different teams!

Team Sailor Scouts is an all-woman esport team that aims to empower women to play in a competitive setting and to reduce the disparity in the world of esports. Their two competitive teams (one for Overwatch and one for Starcraft II) participate in different public events and competitions across Québec.

Come and say hi to them, they’re all true passionate!

As they say, come and #fightlikeagirl!

If you like online video games where you battle other players around the globe, you need to stop by the Esport Zone!

For those who are unfamiliar with the term “eSport”, it means “Electronic Sports”. Amateurs or professional players form teams and clash against each other in a specific game title to try and win the match! With the rising popularity surrounding these kinds of competitions, we wanted to make sure to showcase them at MEGA, too! The Académie esports de Montréal will be present throughout the weekend in the area. You can also play The Messenger, Super Smash Bros. and other games on Switch.

Here is the eSport games line-up :
